About Gabi Berkers
Gabi Berkers is a visual storyteller at heart.
After starting her own company as a designer and animator, she worked for different companies creating motion graphics, illustrations, graphic design, storyboards and animations.
Her personal work is always inspired by animals, folk tales and her own personal experiences. Born in Amsterdam the Netherlands, she grew up surrounded by art, theatre, music and architecture.
She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2019, where she got her MFA Visual Narrative degree.
Her graduation project was called Ode to Orléans, a 38 page comic book about the hardships of growing up.
Currently she lives in New York City, to continue her career as an illustrator and comic artist.
